Chicago Maritime Society (CMS)
is a Member of the Association for Great Lakes Maritime History
and National Maritime Historical Society. CMS maintains a
large collection of Great Lakes maritime history, photographs and artifacts.

OUR
MISSION
To preserve, increase, and disseminate knowledge of the maritime
history of the city of Chicago and its nautical surroundings; to
collect, restore, interpret, and display artifacts and documents
of Chicago maritime history; to further awareness of the appreciation
for our waterways and to contribute to our experience and progress.
